handphone rings during work at 3 something.
Operator: "Hello, is this mr Tan Bing Hong?"
Me: "Yes, speaking. Who's that on the line?"
Operator: "This is (I forgot what name) calling from CMPB. We've read your letter sent earlier on this morning, and your enlistment date has been finalised. Actually, your enlistment letter has been sent out yesterday. You should receive it sometime around these two days."
Me: "Oh.."
Operator: "Your enlistment date is on the 12th of September, at the Police Academy."
Me: *eyes wide open* "Come again? Police Academy?"
Operator: "Yes."
Me: "OK! Thanks alot!"
And I have been smiling ever since I've answered that call. =D
