ohwell.today's a saturday, yet had to went back to lab for work..1-6pm..sian rite. in e middle of e day..
so..today's a real busy day..spent almost 2 hrs sorting e samples alone. registration was damn slow today, and i did e dipsticks faster than e samples came in :x
hmm..so polly wasnt arnd today, left w me shari lorina and e ic..dono her name..one less person to crap w..coz polly is e only person whom i crap alot w during work in e oh-so-ulu microbio dept..lolx..so ya.quite bored-ed today lar.. but its ok..i was busy w e urine samples anyway..
shari showed me a piece of oily shit today..e proper term is called stearrhoea k guys.. :x i duwan to be smart alec and tell them its called stearrhoea. later they k my itp grades i cry.haha..but it was interesting..saw it under e microscope and saw all e bubbles of oil yada yada..lolx..both of us were like laughing away..
there was also this stool sample where e patient happily wrapped e piece of stool in a tissue paper and put it into e tube. shari offered me to do that sample, and wanted to gave me e task of REMOVING E STOOL FROM E TISSUE PAPER. ok. it was damn gross lar.but i didnt do it..i was doing my dear urine samples..hehe..when she took it out she was like 'walao! erxin!' and she showed me e piece of tissue paper..god.
really nothing much in lab today..mainly on urine samples..urine cultures..sensitivity tests..e ic showed me a sample of shigella and salmonella on the plate too..haha..
and ya..i brought my lab coat home..i bet its bacteria, shit, urine and sputum loaded. biohazard. i fit e criteria for being a bioterrorist eh :)
